Aloysia & Patrick's Intimate Wedding at Islington Golf Club, Toronto

We first met Aloysia & Patrick a few years back when I photographed Renata and Brandon's rustic wedding at The Old Mill, Toronto and St. George Golf Club in Toronto. At their wedding, I learned of how close-knit their lovely family is and was delighted when relatives Aloysia and Patrick got in touch for us to photograph their wedding.

Because we had only just welcomed little Montana into the world a few weeks prior, John took on the wedding of Aloysia and Patrick and has enjoyed working with them since. Their engagement shoot at Beattie Pinery in Alliston was a great time to get to know them, and it's always a wonderful thing to have a relationship established with our Brides and Grooms when their wedding day rolls around.

Their wedding at the Islington Golf Club in Toronto was intimate and meaningful, filled with family and tradition. John did a stunning job of capturing some beautiful moments between the couple out on the golf course, and really enjoyed working alongside the family in capturing memories that will last a lifetime.

Enjoy!

Shannon & Kyle’s Romantic Wedding at Nestleton Waters Inn

Shannon and Kyle are one of the most relaxed, non-stressed, chilled-out couples I have ever had the pleasure of working with. Their wedding day was all about the marriage; these two have this ability to look into the future of their relationship with joy and fun and it had me all hearty eyes.

Their ceremony was unplugged (no cell phones, please) and set against the backdrop of the pond at Nestleton Waters Inn. Hearing the sound of fountains (a little reminiscent of a tropical waterfall) and surrounded by fresh May blooms, palm leaves and green - everywhere, green - was emotional and lovely. One of my favourite moments of the day was when the two shared their vows and sealed them in a locked box with red wine set to age until their fifth anniversary... I could just imagine them sitting together, years from now, ready to continue a tradition they began on their wedding day as they wrote new letters and placed them in the box. I love this idea - it was so simple and perfect and made such a statement about the future.

The day was filled with laughter and love. The decor reminded us of the tropics (and the weather did, too) and the many intimate moments shared by the couple made it feel, even just for a few moments, like it was just the two of them.

Shannon and Kyle, thanks for having us be a part of your special day at Nestleton Waters Inn. Your highlight video is to come shortly!
